Who is this course for?
The City & Guilds 2377-22 Level 3 Award in the In-Service Inspection & Testing of Electrical Equipment is aimed at those responsibilities for the maintenance of electrical equipment and for those undertaking practical inspection and testing of electrical equipment (PAT). It allows candidates to learn, develop and practice the skills required to test portable electrical appliances with the Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment. If you already work as an electrician it will add another string to your bow and can help you move up in the industry.
Accreditation of prior electrical knowledge is assessed for candidates wishing to follow this fast track 2 day programme and is only suitable for those with prior electrical or electronic backgrounds.
The Fast Track 2 Day programme is only suitable for previously qualified electrical or electronic personnel has all learning outcomes relating to electrical principles and application have been omitted against APL.
- The Level 3 Award in the In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (PAT) Involves an on-line examination (1 Hour 45 Minutes-50 Questions Open Book )and a short practical assessment to cover the practical skills associated within Unit 601/602 learning outcomes.
